Motion - Article 3

I move the Town vote to raise and appropriate by taxation the following sum(s) for payment of bill(s) previously incurred for goods/services as specified:

 

(The remainder of this Motion will be presented if such action is deemed necessary).

 

ARTICLE 4

To see what money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from unappropriated available funds in the Treasury, or otherwise provide as may be necessary to defray the Town's expenses and establish the salaries of the several Town officers for the ensuing fiscal year, or act in any way relative thereto.

 

- Budget Article - The first motion divides this Article into sections to allow consideration of the Town and Schools budgets separately. The subsequent motions address these budgets respectively.

 

Motion - Article 4

I move the Town vote to divide Article 4 into sections as follows:

 

          1. Article 4-A Town Budget

          2. Article 4-A(1) Water/Sewer Funds

          3. Article 4-B Northborough Schools Budget

          4. Article 4-B(1) Algonquin Budget

           5. Article 4-B(2) Assabet Valley Regional Vocational School

                          Budget

 

Motion - Article 4-A

I move the Town vote to raise and appropriate and transfer from available funds the sum of Eleven Million Four Hundred Sixty Nine Thousand Six Hundred and Thirty ($11,469,630) Dollars for Schedule A - Town Government as displayed below, and to meet said appropriation, the following sums available for appropriation be transferred:

From:

             Transfer from Overlay Surplus  $ 200,000

             Expendable Trust Fund Income (Cemetery)   $  20,000

             False Alarm    $   2,500

             Transfer from Police Revolving Account $  35,000

             Free Cash             $1,000,000

for a total of One Million Two Hundred Fifty Seven Thousand Five Hundred ($1,257,500) Dollars, and that the sum of Ten Million Two Hundred Twelve Thousand One Hundred and Thirty ($10,212,130) Dollars be raised by taxation.

 

Motion - Article 4-A(1)

I move the Town vote to raise and appropriate the sum of One Million Five Hundred and Ninety Four
